I have a question about the Great Flood

The Noah story is simply a war story.  The word "flood" is a metaphor for an irresistible force.  An enemy army swept through the area on a killing and pillaging rampage sweeping away everything.  Noah and his clan were collaborators and when it was all over Noah's grandson Nimrod became the big wig in the area.  If you notice the story uses metaphors for war and peace, such as "raven", "dove", "olive branch" and others.
And since the lands around the Garden of Eden existed without interruption during and after the flood without any record of them ever being under water the conclusion must be that the watery flood never happened.

Are there any Jewish fairy tales that people won't believe?

I figured this might have been the great flood. But it happened 15,000 years ago. Obviously too long ago to be the biblical flood. Heck, God hadn't even woken up out of nothing to make everything yet.

Jesus wasn't his plan A. He tried an failed a few times before sending his son.

Well, we know for a fact the Flood happened.

Man was wicked and needed to be wiped out - as did all the animals apart from the selected few. You see, because of human sin, homosexuality also happens among animals. And the flood also wiped out the unicorns - because they're all sparkly and, therefore, gay.

Evidence for the flood is the Grand Canyon - carved, as it was, in a couple of days by the flood waters.

And, of course, they've found the Ark on Mt. Ararat.

And do you really think Ken Ham would be creating his Ark Encounter if it didn't really happen? It's obviously not to make money, after all.

Final proof of the Ark is that, hundreds of years after the flood, the last descendant of Noah was publicly executed by her enemies - Joan of Ark.

Yeah, the early trial runs weren't promising.
First attempt was just a fruit basket with a $3 price tag dangling from the handle and there was a little card that read "To a Wonderful Grandmother" wedged between two apples.
Don't know what he was thinking.

Not even any reason for that. A clever God would have made sure to create people, who of their own free will, would never opt to misbehave. No need for a flood, or Jesus or burning heretics or any of the rest of it.

But it way the myth has it, God comes off as a parent who leave a toddler alone with a fork and a wall plug, then leaves the room only to return and kill the child for being disobedient enough to electrocute itself.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
