So by the consensus I have read so far is everyone saying Nuclear bombs are "proof" of God?
Because if they are a Product of god as my post asks then that makes them direct proof of God.
Are you sure you all want too go down this road?

I have no idea what you're even talking about, dude... I think I speak for the group, here.
We have enough to argue about without making up bullshit.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Technically the Chinese invented guns in the 13th century (300 years after gunpowder was invented). From there it spread west to the Middle East via Mongols. Obviously gunpowder was invented for reasons other than to kill people, and remained that way for three centuries. [quote=Wiki]
Gonna blame the Chinese people as a whole--much less the single person who came up with gunpowder, for how it was used? Or are we going to hold accountable the guy **who took an innocuous in invention and wielded it into something with which to hurt others**-- and the subsequent killers behind the guns?
The same goes for nuclear bombs. Ever heard of a nuclear power plant?? Rhymes with nuclear bomb doesn't it?
Anything in this world can be weaponized. It's only the wise, who avoid strife altogether.
I could give two inmates forks and one would eat with it and the other might stab his fellow inmate with his fork. Even if I gave them the fork, it doesn't mean that it's my fault someone stabbed another with it. Not unless I knew that the inmate was mentally unsound or had a history of violence. I don't blame the fork maker, either, for inventing forks. Humans stab other humans for many reasons, with many different instruments. Statistically, in the case of guns and current (and most especially past) wars--their primary motivations are based upon religious texts, which claim that supreme beings gave them the instructions and reasoning for a Neverending war. Meanwhile scientists are working to remove the underlying issues (such as energy shortage or food famine) for the wars themselves. Science is even proving that there were no supreme beings needed in the first place, for life to form thus making those religious texts irrelevant and the bloodshed, demonstrably unnecessary.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's
sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god
does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
