I know, probably better than damn near anyone here, that it IS associate with us, but it doesn't have to be. Truth be told, the legitimate medical professionals, most of the ones who actually matter, they'll dismiss that association instantly. They actually understand the difference. If someone legitimately has BIID, I don't hate them, I feel bad for them; the ones I get pissed at are the asshats in the media or in the political arena who don't know the difference between the two. With all due respect Tara, the similarities between BIID and GID are obvious to anyone. The "procedure" was carried out a psychologist not a psychiatrist - so no they don't have the right to perform surgeries on people, but with that said the patient is much happier now, so there would be no reason to go after the psychologist for mistreatment of a patient/professional misconduct. GID is also "actually a disorder", as I mentioned earlier labelling mental conditions as "disorders" is not necessarily always right. Some patients don't mind being told they have a disorder - but depending on the patient and depending on the condition they have, there are plenty who do not feel their condition should be viewed as a 'disorder'.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK "That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. I've held my tongue for awhile and was hoping someone like you wouldn't come along and spout nonsense and stupidity, your a dumb little twit who hates Christianity and the proof is that you didn't even bother to post until you read my post. Then you jump in and make illogical statements because of your hatred for me as a Christian, which blinds you to what I said and then when Losty disagreed with you you pushed those feelings on her, you're quite the remarkable little dumb _ _ _. You need to learn to be sensitive to others especially the mentally ill, which by the way I am working with. She was born mentally handy capped and developed schizophrenia at 30. So I know about a person who has the uncontrollable desire to hurt herself or others, though that rarely occurs since my wife and I have worked with her, her psychiatrist has even been reducing her medication, proper help and real love makes a great difference. Everyone who knew her before she came into our lives say they can't believe this is the same person, they are no longer afraid of her and see a loving, generous and caring lady. As for what you quoted from my post, it in no way means what you have applied to it, that's just your hateful way of trying to get under my skin and it didn't work, what got under my skin is the way you treated Losty. So just leave this conversation, you seem to have nothing intelligent to contribute to this thread, all I see from you is hatefulness. GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
