Mafia: a sincere apology

RE: Mafia: a sincere apology
Yeah what other people have said. You didn't ruin the game and it can be extremely tense sometimes. This one has been quite tense for some reason. I would definitely be sorry to see you go.

Maybe it's time for another introductory game?

I wasn't playing of course but yeah it seemed pretty intense. I think sometimes we oughtta take a step back when things start getting that way, you know?

I can remember several games ago when IANM got pretty upset with me for tunneling her, and while I'd like to point out that she *was* scum, she had a point that my playstyle could be unpleasant particularly being on the receiving end of it. I've since moderated my approach.

It's just a game, but I think it's useful to remember that the player you're trying to lynch is emotionally invested in the game too, and it's not their fault that their role PM says they're a scumbumble.

Maybe we should all make a little to effort to be gentler. Tongue

Hey Kitan  Smile I've been watching the game and you didn't ruin it at all. It looked (looks) like a tense game all round and I'd bet that every player who's ever played has got a story to tell of when they lost their shit. I certainly have... several  Wink I hope you play again... in fact, I hope you play the next one  Smile I'd really like to play with you and I'll be in that game.

It really is a learning process this game, and you learn a lot about psychology... your own and other people's, and you just improve with every game. You become a better team player, you become less stubborn, you become more humble, you become more moderate... it's all good and it's all memorable. I wouldn't trade even my most painful games for all the world.

Hope you come back  Heart

I can't wait to play this game. I'll probably be such a big softy in it haha.

Another introductory game sounds cool from my selfish perspective heh - I am new haven't played before, need an introduction kinda.

But I have already signed up for the Loony Toons game and I can't wait to play that. Just be gentle with me as I learn folks, I 12 73|-| u8312 N008!

Don't worry most first time players get given an easy time. Which really sucks when they turn out to be Mafia!

Incidentally if people refer to you as scum they're not being personal, it's easier to say than Mafia.

It gets easier with playing Kit. And the game is not ruined yet Big Grin As to looney mafia, it isn't an introduction game, but I designed it to be more light hearted.
