that's the reason why you reject Christianity?

The reason most of us reject Christianity is that we've noticed that Christians have never been able to make a good case that their supernatural beliefs are actually true. Don't take it personally, none of the other religions have been able to do that either.

And who said anything about being offended? We're just tired of self-righteous people like you thinking you can just take over our own community to preach to us, without any respect for the people you're trampling all over. If we're offended at anything, it's at your behavior, not the ridiculous stories that are causing you to misbehave.

im not self-righteous. Im  a wicked sinner who deserves hell but was saved by grace through Jesus Christ,
atheists are so angry over a message of love

Jesus said his followers would be known by their love. It's clear from that, that he doesn't actually have very many followers. From your posts so far, I see no reason to suspect you're one either. Look at you accusing us of being angry at your love, as though you've shown any.

Now, with this new found knowledge of the book you live your entire life by, doesn't it make you question it?  At all?

ok just wondering
and no
I feel bad for anyone who needs solid evidence for everything in their lives.
like double checking a chair before sitting on it
or making sure their wife didn't poison their coffee
faith is exercised daily by everyone
I just choose to place my faith in Jesus
and people will crucify me for it I honestly jump for joy when people hate me for it because great is my reward in heaven
All of our past experience with chairs means we have solid reasons to think it unlikely that one will collapse upon a particular sitting.

Hopefully, one knows human beings in general and their spouse in particular to assess the probability of their coffee being poisoned as very low, too low to worry about.

There's a big difference between realistic assessment of probability based on a lifetime of experience, and believing in something backed by nothing but people who believe in it saying it's true.

I told you to fuck off because you seem to think that tossing out Bible verses to a bunch of atheists constitutes a conversation. Your mere assertion that any of it is true is insufficient. Your word on the subject (I really, really believe it) is worse than useless. If you want anyone here to believe that this collection of ancient writings is the "eternal word" of Yahweh, you first have to persuade us that Yahweh is more than a character in a book.

What you believe is irrelevant.

the sun and moon will be darkened and stars won't give its light and a massive earthquake will rock the world and then sign of the Son of Man will come in the clouds. everyone will see Him and some will mourn and others will rejoice because they will forever be with the Lord.

that is the sign that will prove his deity

Don't forget the part about the stars falling to earth, which literally can't happen, but that's something you can't know unless you know what stars really are.

He meant - it's easily accessible, if you use lube. The boy's been around the block, it appears.

Especially when those people have no more reason to believe these things than anyone else and have a vested interest in suckering people in. Ker-ching.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm not afraid to offend atheists. The message I bring is not from me and it is good news. (Jesus saves us from hell)
A disciple of Jesus is one trusts in Him (this does not mean they automatically become loving people) Once you look for Christians by the way they act or on their deeds, you won't find one because once they screw up you'll doubt. I don't display my works for people to see. All works should be done in secret, and Your father will see them and reward them, once you are saved.

Wishful thinking. Christianity is rank with it.

What sets your claims apart from say, the muslims or the jews? Can you bring any evidence to the table that they can't?
