I'm not "begging for God to reveal Himself"; don't be silly. All I'm doing is waiting and asking you to present a case for why you believe the things you say. I accept that you believe these things; I'm asking you to accept your burden of proof. For instance, you just said that you think "God" revealed itself through this Jesus character. Ok, on what basis do you think that?

Anyone can claim to be the Son of God, but Jesus said He will show one sign and that was that He would be raised from the dead 3 days after He was killed. Jesus appeared to the disciples as well as hundreds of others in His resurrected form, and His followers went from scared to bold in their faith. why? because they KNEW everything He said was true because Jesus proved it by His resurrection.

As you know, many Christians died for their faith in Jesus Christ; I refuse to believe that they were defending a lie.  I believe that Jesus was raised from the dead and that life everlasting is through Him.

That's not the only story in history we have of someone being born a virgin, and coming back after being killed.

The world trade center was destroyed by people willing to die for what they believed. Samurai would gut themselves for the sake of honor. Convincing people to die for beliefs isn't all that hard.

The writings from Josephus aren't very credible, from what I've heard.

Let's not forget Jonestown and Heaven’s Gate. These people were not just willing to die, they proactively took their lives because they believed in a better afterlife. Compare that to Christians who say they believe but do everything in their power to avoid death. If willingness to die is the litmus test of true faith then I know of no true believers today or even last week.

Isn’t it odd that people who praise others for dying for their beliefs never practice what they preach?

1.  Either primitive desert barbarians justifying genocide, rape, and enslavement by claiming it was a deity who told them to do it, or:
2.  A thoroughly evil deity ordering its followers to commit genocide.  A deity NOT worth worshipping.
