A Question About Memory

I have fantastic audio replay in my head. Images are OK, but not as good. Touch, taste and smell I can just about recreate, but it's nothing like the first two.

Sounds like a much less extreme version of me. For me Touch I can't recreate at all and taste and smell almost never and never intentionally, and images very very rarely and still not intentionally... my entire inner life is basically audio though and not just through replay but intentionally and creatively too. The voice in my head, the songs in my head, the rhythms in my head.

If only I knew what notes I was hearing in my head when I come up with songs in there... I could write a lot of songs.

But I never thought of it til you said it, so thanks and wow, that's cool.
So I got to thinking. I think an orgasm may be in the same category.
I can remember and describe one, but not come close to feeling it at all.
It makes me wonder if visual and auditory senses were ever as strong as the others to begin with in terms of physical satisfaction.

Nope, orgasms I can remember almost as well as sight.   But I bet that differs person to person too.
