I think Rick and Michonne make sense. After Jessie gets killed in the comic, Rick and Andrea become a couple. Since Andrea's character is worm food on the TV show, it seems reasonable that Rick and Michonne would be paired together. I would imagine by now that Rick and Friends recognize that a partner who needs to be lugged around and constantly protected is nothing more than a dangerous liability in a zombie apocalypse;They slow you down, and eventually get you killed. The Alexandria townspeople are pretty much weak fluff for the most part. The only strong, survivor-type women are in Rick's group. Rosita and Maggie are spoken for, Sasha's in her own world (and slightly unstable), and Tara's into chicks. Carol's certainly tough enough, but she's also proven herself to be capable of killing innocent people in their sleep.

What are Michonne's options? Helpless town losers that need an hour to kill one zombie are out of the question. Eugene and Gabriel are essentially wusses. Morgan's a moron, who won't even kill to protect himself or anyone else since he got "religion". Glenn's hitched. Daryl is a total emotional cripple who steadfastly REFUSES to bathe, despite having access to hot running water. That leaves Rick and Abraham.

And who would want that big, dumb ox on top them, besides Rosita? 
And Sasha apparently. But, she's not exactly in her right mind...heh heh.

I make a reasonable effort to hide comic spoilers if they pertain to show. Anyone who watches the show knows that Andrea's dead. If there's someone who hasn't watched the series that far, they shouldn't be reading a thread titled "TWD Season 6".

As far as the comic's concerned, I would hardly consider who's Rick's girlfriend is to be a spoiler. I see absolutely no reason to edit the post and add hide tags, and won't be doing so.

I'm still holding out for Abraham to bite it. After tonight's episode it almost seemed as if the writers want the viewers to disengage from any attachment from the character by writing him extra douchey. Hopefully, he's on the chopping block.

If it were up to me, I think I'd much rather Carol stick around than Maggie, though. I've always found Maggie's character to be on the boring side, in both mediums. 

I assume Carol finally got some action tonight. After she leaned in for the kiss, I thought we'd see a bit more. I half-expected Tobin to breathlessly whisper "Please..be gentle." just before Carol has her way with him.

Yeah, I am rooting more for Carol than Maggie, too, but then she is pregnant. However, in the world in which they are living, one baby was hard enough. Can they handle two?

They'll both die, in my opinion. I just don't see how only one can escape and the other doesn't - it would be way too cheesy. I think they'll kill both of them before the exchange or anything else even happens.

I didn't even read it, I just saw that you started talking about what happens in the comics, as you did with this post. Maybe it won't be something you'll consider a spoiler, but it's still something from the source material and if it's different in any way you never know. I don't think you're required by any rule to add hide tags to what you say, it just comes down to being a nice person, so I don't see why you develop that attitude with me.

So far, I love the second half of season six. I love Rick and Michonne, and One-Eyed-Coahrahl's reaction to their *thing*. I love Jesus and I love Carol making an effort to throwback, but not backing down when the moist beet-and-acorn cookies hit the fan. I wish Maggie wasn't pregnant, because it either means she's totally fucked or the writers are audience-pandering. I really don't want her to die because Glenn is maybe my favorite character, but he will change if he loses Maggie and their offspring. One or both is inevitable.

This episode didn't disappoint: Tobin's reply to Carol when she told him she used to be a mom was perfect. 

Glenn!! Killing people in their sleep!! So glad he didn't slowly (quickly?) waste away into the zombie wasteland under a dumpster! Holy fuck, Glenn! BadASS!

Oh, shit... and the fake Gregory head... brilliant. I'm thinking there probably aren't anymore fighters in Negan's group. I don't have a hypothesis as to what will happen as a result. A lot of people might die next week... though we still have four episodes left to the season.

... what the fuck is up with Abraham, though? I mean, yeah, Sasha's badass and beautiful, and runs quite a bit deeper than Rosita (as far as we know- we don't know much about Rosita), but she's got some serious issues: Bob, Tyrese, the whole rest of her family... eff. If I were Sasha, I'd be so far away from Abraham... but I guess they all have issues, and I guess it's all part of the point: the Walking Dead isn't referring to the "walkers" "biters" "roamers", whathaveyou, but the "people" (are they still people?) who are still alive... or in control, I guess? They're such such thin lines between "alive" and "walker" and "dead" ; "good" and "bad"... and they're so blurred.

I love this gerddangin show. I have more, but I gotta pee.
