Yes, are they actually following the comics? Rick should be short one hand, no?

A guy I know ruined it for me since he was reading the comics. I don't think they'll do the same exact thing in the show though,
Though the same guy told me how he hates it because Negan doesn't use the word "fuck" like in the comics, I think it would be so cool if curses weren't taken out.
And Lucille looks so hot anyways
Personally, I vote Abraham. Just a hunch

Abraham's my least favorite character, but I think anyone other than
being killed in that particular story line would be a major cop-out. Wouldn't surprise me, though; I wouldn't put it past the show's producers to take one of the most iconic moments from the series and reduce it to a popularity contest.

What's with the Abe hate?
My vote will always be for Maggie but I don't think it will be her. I'm wondering if it will be someone like Daryl - a huge fan favorite but wouldn't be the expected kill off Glenn. Comic fans seem to want him dead but show fans love him... Would be controversial anyway.

It is basically a toss between Daryl, because supposedly he has a new show coming out, or Glenn, in order to follow the comics.
Well, now I know which was the lie.
IMDB has no "post production" for Daryl, so it's Glenn.

Having work in post-production doesn't mean that he's off the show, it means that he's a working actor who has more going on than just TWD

From what I understand, the show would be following the comics because
In order to correctly follow the comics, they will have to think less of what the viewers want and make an impact like George RR Martin did with his novels.
So what if a main character or two dies? It does not detract from the drama, but rather adds a certain excitement to it.
