Why do Deists believe in Heaven?

RE: Why do Deists believe in Heaven?
Nope, not all religions are harmful or dangerous. And not all non-religious beliefs are safe.

The primary problem with theism/deism/belief-in-supernatural to the believer as a person is that he is filling the gaps of ignorance with bs and thereby clinging to his ignorance. This actually makes him/her vulnerable to more bs over time. So even if you are not harming others, you are still harming yourself when you start with presupposition and don't seek to validate it.

Jenny: I totally agree, belief is not a choice. It's a thing I usually have to say about 300 times per debate on here Wink

I'm glad my point made sense. I agree that your belief is probably pretty harmless.

i agree we should validate our beliefs thats why i still believe in God and have not discarded this belief because my belief in God has been validated
Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today   FSM Grin   Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you will join us And the world will be as one  - John Lennon

RE: Why do Deists believe in Heaven?
Most Deists believe in heaven due to God's Name. They been programmed to believe a certain type of wisdom, will, and design through God's Name about God and his plan.

If they think more about God's Name and recognize there will be servants totally in tune with it and it's praiseworthy path, they ought to know humans ought to help these people and be on their side, and adhere to their guidance.

Now it seems Deists will automatically have to accept "God's Name" as how else would we know anything about him.
That all praise is towards God, or else he would not be absolute, hence all praise in creation is towards him.
That of his praiseworthy traits is compassion and mercy.
That due to his name and it's praise, there is a time we will be judged.
That there is a straight path which his name calls to, and the praise of his name calls to, in which they ought to hope God guides them towards and seek his help in following.
That there is people favored with this path.
This other then the path of evil people.
This other then the path of those who are lost and ignorant (but not necessarily evil).

The acceptance facts and connection with each other, and emphasis on these, should open doors to reflection.

How will we recognize the straight path if we are lost?
What will we do about the evil people who lead the masses astray and are taken as authorities?
How will we recognize those who God favored, if they are to be recognize at all?
What does God do to guide to us upon this path and would he do anything to manifest some of those who God has favoured when often majority of humans are lost, following conjecture, and are ignorant.
What is God's Name in reality - would God take it upon himself to manifest his name, and as well, as the chosen friends of his, would they try to guide people about God's Name and towards God's light?
Who will oppose the evil people, and how to recognize the movement that is primarily against them in humanity and not oppose those people?

These are questions. If you think about deeply enough, religion will seem logical.

Suratal Fatiha is a neutral caller, it's the soft caller, while the whole Quran then elaborates on why acknowledging those facts should lead you to religion.

One of these facts is a day we will be judged for what we have done.
