Bullshit.

Christian morality overlaps with actual worthwhile morality in places, but takes too simplistic an approach to be of any real use.

^ Friend, Hitler was no Christian and Hitler had no relationship with Christianity.

Hitler was a CATHOLIC, not at all the same thing. Catholics say they are Christians but really are not. They believe in things like Mary being a Goddess, Jesus living in a cracker, and The Pope being the "voice of God."

A true Christian would have had nothing to do with Nazism. He would have tried to witness to the Jews instead of persecuting them.

I think missionary "work" is a really clever approach to pedophilia child rape. Missionaries not only get to f*** skinny, exotic-looking children all around the world, but also their victims are likely to die of starvation, before they "snitch"...

Pedophilia is the attraction, not the act. A lot of people seem to confuse these two for some reason.

Depends if they're actually going out to help people or if they're just pushing their religious beliefs.

For instance, the Haiti earthquake. Many groups went there to help the victims. Several Christian groups decided to ship boxes of bibles over in a cynical attempt to push their beliefs on the victims.

Another example is the starving people around the world. Many people and groups, both secular and religious, are trying to help out by providing food and infrastructure for them. Some Christian groups demand that the people they're "helping" listen to bible passages before they get the help they need.

Conditional charity is NOT charity.

Then you come to the "missionaries" who stand on street corners and harangue passers-by or, worse, knock on peoples' doors to push their religion. As far as I'm concerned, they're nothing but ignorant, pushy, arseholes. They're on par with the scientologists who were trying to recruit people from my university into their cult.
