Mewstly. My grandfathers got a better one. He set his home on fire - we're talking a blaze..the whole place went down in the end, and an uncle went in to save him. Thing is, he wasn't in there, he was watching from the woodline with his friend. They'd both been playing with a lantern under a cardboard box..and when it blew, launching the box off of them and exposing them to the prying eyes of adults, they'd simulatanously, wordlessly decided it was time to GTFO..and in his own words "let that handle itself". His uncle came out, badly burned, naked - he'd gone in in his bdus - crying about little Bucky. The kid was his namesake after all.

I cringe to remember it, but when I was 13 a bunch of us had an unsupervised New Year's party in which we (all of us about 90 lbs. dripping wet) got drunk and decided we should go egg people's houses.
Problem: We didn't have eggs. Solution: We found two cases of grapefruit in the host's basement and decided they would be a good substitute. I'll leave it to you to imagine the sound of Hell descending on those poor people in that trailer park. |
