A most excellent list. I was going to add baseball, truth or dare, spin the bottle and hide the sausage.

Um, like for the time we played them? Or still good to play now?  Cause some of my favorite games AT THAT TIME have not aged so well, due to next gen games causing shifting player expectations.

I went with what they meant to me at the time.

Well, in that case:

1. Everquest, back in 1999, 2000 and 2001, my fav game of all time, at the time.
2. Final Fantasy 1, 2 and 3.  My Fav console games as a young teen.
3. Balder's Gate. For PC, my fav straight up RPG.
4. The Secret World (Horror themed MMO, needs more fans!!!)
5. SWG (Star Wars Galaxies), pre CU.  One of the most innovative, creative, sandboxy MMO's ever made. (And they killed it!  I'll be crying over that til I die).

But it's so hard to pick.  So many great games in the world. Big Grin

This is a hard call for me, I have so many faves. This is in no particular order as I can't decide, but if I was going to say my 5 favourites it would be these.

Resident Evil 4 - I actually never played this until like 2010, but by far the best in the RE series and I think most people agree on this. I can still play this now even with the dated gameplay and graphics, and still enjoy it.

X-Men Legends - I was a big X-Men geek as a kid (still am a bit) and I played this game to fucking death back when it was new in like late 2004/early 2005. This was one of those game discs that went into my PS2 and didn't come back out for weeks.

Assassin's Creed 2 - Best in the series imo. Still shits on all the others, although Black Flag isn't far behind.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary - I've always loved the TR series but this remake of the first game comes out on top for me. There was always something about it I just loved, and it's still one of those I find myself going back to play again and again.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - Another one I played to death when it was new, and still my favourite Uncharted. Loved the gameplay, the atmosphere, the story writing. So much fun.

Honourable mentions go to The Last of Us, AC: Black Flag and Saints Row 2

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."
