What should have cost around $500K to build, the bill was for $43mil for a CNG gas station in Afghanistan.

War always paid for some. Just not for the soldiers or the civilians involved. But we all know, the ones in power wouldn't wipe their asses with soldiers or civilians. They don't count when it comes to lining ones pockets.

If there was any accountability everyone involved would be locked up in prison for the next 20 years. It's actually better if it's just a normal criminal case instead of one of gross stupidity or incompetence. But seeing how our national policies are run it's probably just gross stupidity and incompetence.

Well, historically war HAS been profitable for the ground-pounders. If modern armies would revive the Roman custom of letting the troops loot any city they took, it would save governments a packet.
