The actual reason for the inclusion of a provision against pork in long gone middle eastern cultures was pretty sensible too, and had nothing to do with any "gods". The followers of "gods" just don't know what that is, even less so than those cultures did, so now we get this shit.
You know the guy behind the counter at the shady stripmall pork joint whose refridgerators don't work...who spends his entire day huddled over questionable meat products smoking two packs of reds and ashing into the dish? That was why. I don't eat anything he's cooked either, because I don't have a deathwish. Try to explain to the religious that some portion of their holy scriptures are little more than a McDonalds food prep manual and they'll lose their shit, despite that being one of the only worthwhile portions of the entire sorry affair.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Yeah, I've heard before that these books kind of read like a health and safety manual of the age, but with stupid explanations made up to make people follow the rules. Or maybe just because it seemed like a good idea to do something (or not do it), it worked, but they didn't know why. So it's because God said so.

They didn't understand germ theory, so the explanation invariably became magic...which is synonymous with god. Or, if you prefer, jesus cast demons into pigs - hence unclean.

So, long story short, muslims are filthy, and have the audicity to blame the pig for the circumstances of it's imprisonment. "Allah" is as incapable of making a point as the quran is of providing evidence. Perhaps, rather than looking to the quran, you should have asked someone who raised pigs, Atlas? Then you wouldn't come off like the simpleton that your god clearly is.
Jesus didn't like pigs.

To counter what he said (ironically; from the same Quran) :
Quote:I took a classic example of forgiveness. Admits that he misused women, lied, bribed, insubordination in office and more. After admitting the wrong actions he says after marriage that is all going to stop and Allah will forgive for the past due to it not being repeated. His example was how his mother forgives him for his wrong actions and Allah forgives him 73 times more than that of his mother. How come the exact number 73 times i asked him. " It is stated in the Quran".
God is merciful, but Allah is neither a mom or a dad. Check this verse :
Sura 5
( 18 ) But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.
It's ironic when a Muslim claiming to follow the Quran, ignores the above verse and considers God "a mother". About the number 73, that's a Hadith, this number is not even mentioned in the Quran.
Bottom line for this point : we are not God's children, neither is he "Our daddy or mommy". He will punish us if he wanted, forgive us if he wanted.
Sir your thinking pattern is more like a Tyrant in the movie 300. Punish who you want and forgive who you want. What was his name , Xerxes the God king.

Man, Atlas, you have no fucking idea what you're missing dude. Singularly the tastiest meat on Earth.... bacon, gammon, belly pork....mmmm belly pork.
As for it being filthy, total and utter bullshit. Put them in a small, filthy sty and they will, as we would, end up filthy. In nature they are among the cleanest and most intelligent animals there are.
Did I mention how they taste??

Do you know that the laws of Islam did not apply to the prophet? According to the book, the prophet can marry as many women as he wants, the 4 wives quota does not apply, and any woman who gives herself freely to the prophet goes straight to heaven (quite convenient isn't it?)
You would have to be a special kind of stupid, to follow a leader that does not respect his own teachings.
