I developed a deep bond with a guy through an RPG game. We were both a part of the game for over a long period of time. We married in the game.

We made the promise that we would never leave one another.

Recently, he decided to leave the game, to longer play.

It hit me hard. I stopped playing, except to log in once a day to see if he had messaged me, because I cannot bear to be there without him.

I feel as though my heart has been ripped out of my chest.

I know it was just a game, but still.
