Just getting up. Well, for the second time. I had bad insomnia last night, partially related to backpain from being overweight, and partially due to hunger. I ate brekky at 4:00am: multigrain waffles, toast and veggie sausage. Then back to bed and very well refreshed now. But I am no expert on sleep, I'll telll you that much.

In other news the latest terror attack means it's time to switch off social media for a few days. Between "Pray for [place]", "Nothing to do with Islam" and "See? Holy shit! I was just digging back through some old threads in which I had criticized President Trump a couple of weeks after the inauguration and can't believe it was just a few months ago that I posted those things. I feel like I've aged at least a couple of years since then. They either need to run this guy off, or I need to become less informed. The way things are going, I won't make it to the mid-term elections.

Right meow, feeling hot and bothered. Cranked my amp, played along with Rush, Sabs, and Cream, and another 20 minutes working out my own stuff. I've got sore, happy fingers. A/C is broken, I was sweating like a pig out of mud, and it was good.

I hate summer. Spring does not exist here, so it's just summer now. It's still a little under 90° F, but it's going to get much hotter here soon. I'm already burning up as it is. I need to move back north again.
