And he's not doing it by praying? Fancy that.

Well, you've done some pagan math in calculating water volumes, keep in mind when doing Christian math, all things are possible, such as 1+1+1=1  and 3=1, so you are getting the wrong answer.

Tongue

and you seem to be speaking with blinders on... My purposal speaks to several benefits not just sea level adjustments. Yet that all you seem to see. Even so, your/Cato objection is limited to the idea that once the salt sea has been created that no more sea water will be used. Again, we are not just transfering water to a storage tank and sitting on it we are taking hundreds of trillions of gallons of water out of the sea and funneling it to fresh water solar generators. Do you two not understand that this water has to be replenished every day? that is the purpose of creating an in land sea in the middle of a dry and arid desert. (To get the water to evaporate.) once the water evaporates guess what happens next.. No wrong, it turns to rain. Not rain that will come down just over the inland salt sea but rain that will be carried off into adjacent regions in that area. Which again means that millions of gallons will have to be replaced daily.

So what does that mean? It means we will need more water from the sea. alot more a whole lot more if we start to plant crops in the rain affected areas, and plant communities.

So how will this all effect sea levels? To the short sighted d-bag/earth is flat till he see it's round on CNN. it doesn't affect sea levels because to that guy he will only see the water going into to fill this inland sea the first time. But to the person with a vision who sees this project and what it could mean for humanity from here on out (maybe hundreds if not thousands of years into the future) this project could potentially pump the seas dry if we only took from the sea and never gave back.

1X1X1=1
Same variables, same answer/conclusion, just a different way of figuring.

If you guys are this wrong with basic science how can you have any faith in anything else you believe?

No, not prayer. A vision from God on how all of this could work.

It's a creative idea that has some merit, but someone else already thunk it. I don't blame you, but God should know better.

What it will come down to is whether the economics work.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Actually what it will come down to is thirst and hunger.

In revelation the last battles are over water in that region. It says thier will be a 200,000,000 million man army that will march across the dry river bed of the euphraties.

It's no secret that China has the world's largest population, and the vast majority of Mainland China is mountainous/not farm land. China (perhaps the great dragon of the book of revelation) is/Has bought up hundreds of millions of acres of land along side the nile near it's source and is diverting much of it into it's farm lands/rice patties. Which all gets shipped back to china.

Now couple that with the Euphrates and tigres drying up, and we have conditions that meet the end times. Which BTW has never in recorded history been right.. till now.

So again, even if the cost is astronomical what costs more? War over dwindling rancid water (which is what is happening to the water in those rivers when they dry up/less volume, flow ) or a canal. the need for water and rising sea levels will ever be on the list of man's needs.

If our leaders were not so busy with this sky is falling crap (global cooling warming climate change) we can literally do nothing about, maybe we could come together and do something we all can understand and get behind. Not only that this will effect real global change and perhaps provide for a need that could trigger the end of man's reign.

Even if this Idea did not originate with me, it is still a valid one. One that needs to be studied. So I ask that "we"/You all try and put it out there. I Don't care who gets credit for it. It just needs to get done. So facebook or tweet or whatever you think will help and call it your own idea if you like. but, lets try and get people talking about it, maybe someone will actually see it who can effect real change that will make all of our lives better.

Or... We can all see if the book of revelation all gets played out on our watch.

Oh, well that's alright then. I was worried this was going to turn out to be something silly, for a minute. But a vision from God - it's not like that's ever fallen through before.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I can't get past the fact that I'm supposed to believe God is sending visions on how to stave off predictions in Revelations.

I can't get past the notion that Drich thinks climate change is scaremongering, yet apparently has never heard of the water cycle.
