Is it me or well..
Gun control is just a huge fucking joke.. California has strict gun control and even then shit like this happens.
So does gun control work simply no. Even having to explain to someone how it is easy for a criminal to get a gun
because well it is easy to get a gun. Gun control doesn't work it really doesn't its really foolish for the democratic side
to think that well in practice it really doesn't work at all. Florida is a good example of how easy it is to get a gun
one only needs to go on craigslist or even somewhere else to buy a gun with no licence.

The way we do it, sure.

Amazing, isn't it, how every other civilized country manages it but we can't?  But then the same is true of health care, education, & infrastructure.  But as long as some asshole politician tells us "We're #1" the sheep are happy.

Stronger regulations, coupled with a dedicated police effort to crack down on unlicensed ownership or selling of guns would at least be a step in the right direction, it won't happen, but it would be a good step. The real problem lies in the total absence of concern for general social well being; no social health programs, an unrestrained police force, an astoundingly corrupt government, and what seems like an education system that exists to make it's citizens less intelligent. It's a sick society as it exists, limiting the guns isn't enough mend the psychotic culture of America, but when a person is diagnosed as psychotic, it's considered good practice to try to keep the patient away from harmful objects.

Uhm, no - it doesn't. There isn't a single place in USA with "strict gun control", not by any sensible standards.  And even if there was - what difference would it make, if you can easily smuggle guns from neighbouring states? And even if you couldn't - how long before all those hundreds of millions of guns already in circulation stop working?

But anyway - who cares? People will be dying of something. Mass shootings and even all gun-related murders are nothing compared to the number of car accident casualties. It's all a matter of balancing the benefits and the negative effects, just like with cars.

I mean sure - it doesn't look good when a dozen children get their brains splattered all over the chalk-board once a week, but after all guns must be giving Americans so many benefits, that a few children bodies surely are a small price to pay. Just chuck them in a ditch and go hunting, or defending yourselves against terrorists, or the government, or something awesome like that...

And another "idea" - when automobiles became popular and the number of pedestrians being killed by them rose dramatically, causing public outrage, the US government, inspired by car-manufacturing lobbies implemented "Look where you're going, idiot! It's your own fault if you get ran over." laws, preventing pedestrians from using the streets, as they did before. Just have a law requiring everyone to wear bullet-proof garments and run everywhere bent to the ground and zig-zaging, to make for a harder target. Those damn victims need to be regulated... Dodgy

Geez, when will people stop whining about gun violence?  It's not that big of a deal.

Far more people get killed in car accidents than by getting shot to death.  So if you are a worry wart you should fear your car more than you fear a gun.  Chances are your car will kill you a lot sooner than a gun will. I've been in six car wrecks but have never been shot at.

The chart that you use all depends on what you want to prove:

That chart shows that more people die in car accidents than from guns.

Get rid of the cause designed specifically for that purpose, then maybe the number of deaths for both combined would more or less halve. Or does that make too much sense?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
