Now, let me just say... I love Capricorns. They are a no BS kind of sign, they know what they want, what they like, what they hate, where they wanna be in life, etc. They are very straight forward kind of people. But this is intriguing to me.

Capricorns are known to be very good children, very obedient and take well to religion, structure and rules - but as they age, certain life experiences make their hearts colder and make them a lot more rebellious and dark. Just like Satan, who was once an angel, Capricorns evolve into a more serious, fierce, darker person.

So... In the bible, it says that God will place the sheep on the right and the goats on the left, and the GOATS on the left will be cast into "the lake of fire."

According to the bible, the Devil rules over the Earth, representing materialism, money, status and power... Capricorn is an Earth sign, associated with the same things and ruled by the 10th House of public reputation/recognition/social status. Capricorn wants to rule the world, Capricorn wants success and a high social ranking... Just like, according to the bible, the Devil wanted to be #1 and to be better than "God."

The ancient depiction and symbolism of the Devil is a goat-like creature. In Satanism, the image of a goat is used to represent the Devil. In tarot cards, the Devil card is associated with Earth and the Astrological sign of Capricorn. The card is representative of bondage to material things... It also indicates an obsession or addiction to high status and fulfilling Earthly/wordly desires.

Apparently, the troll thinks that words that start with "sat" are necessarily related. By that token, "satin" must be Satan's preferred fabric. Thus, "Nights in White Satin" is the Moody Blues' ode to Satan's wardrobe. Or maybe they just left the "k" off "nights" to disguise the fact that they were really singing a prophecy of the coming of KISS (which, as we all know thanks to '70s Evangelicals, really stands for Knights in Satan's Service). Here's where we come full circle: Paul Stanley was the star child and Ace Frehley  was the space guy (obviously both from Saturn); Gene Simmons was the demon lizard guy (obviously from Hell itself); Peter Criss was the cat (we all know how much cats figure in magick). Ta-da!
