So TC, ya got a hell "lite" that might be available. Not a lake of fire but maybe a barely tolerable giant hot tub? Ya get beer but it's only 3.2 so you can't really get drunk and pissing in the hot tub is inevitable?

Is hell real?
Well from what TrueCrap says, yes. I suppose he speaks from experience since he knows so much about the place.
As for the rational thinking people of the world - I would say no. Hell does not exist. Once you die, you die. You don't "go" anywhere. Except maybe in the ground or in an urn. Or you get mummified. So many possibilities exist with what a funeral director can do with your corpse once you die.
There is no heaven or hell. There is no afterlife. If you weren't cremated, then your body decomposes over time and becomes part of the ground. That's my take on it.

It's a bit inaccurate to say Hell is real. There are actually many, many Hells. I have been to several myself, and that's how I know that in order to get there from where we are right now, one must first leave the Nonfictional Plane and venture into a story world with one or more Hells in it. At that point it's mostly a matter of dying, using a portal, casting a spell, having a spell go horribly wrong, crossing paths with a powerful demon...the list goes on.
In the Nonfictional World, though, you guys don't have any Hells to go to. I checked as soon as I got here.

I was just thinking it over, and came to a sad realization.
It really is sort of cruel to send missionaries to the deepest jungles of Africa and Asia.
Pastor Phillip told me that people who have never heard of Jesus or have no opprotunity to may have a chance of going to heaven.
However, those who hear the word and reject it are going straight to Hell.
I just realized that if we expose people to Christ, we are exposing them to a chance of Hell.
It is all really discomforting.
