I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

We're going to see it again on Sunday, I think. I'll look at those bits more closely specifically and get back to you. I want to see Kylo's face at that critical moment again - everyone is telling me they are unclear on his motivations.

Problem with this theory: the Mary Sue story of Rey would suck even more if Rey has no serious family baggage when it's her turn to confront the dark side.

There was some stuff in the theory that connects Rey to it better but I don't remember. Besides, I don't think what you presented is a hole so much as opinion.

Oh, I'm sure that will be the loudest complaint about her - from men who are pissy about the story. Give me a break. There's nothing Mary Sue about her.

Come on, Rey being a Mary Sue character will probably be the loudest story related feedback the film will get once the initial flush of fangasm wears off. For Disney looking to sell more tickets for episold 9 it will be much more important to address that annoyance than to close any plot holes during episold 8. So it's a good bet episold 8 will be mean to Rey.
That's fine, but two things: I was asking for holes, not opinion, and I was asking for holes in the theory, not the plot.
