The word salad charge just makes atheists look so ignorant and anti-intellectual that it confirms one's faith in God.
I find it odd that you would require faith given the airtight logic by which you think demonstration should lead all to the same knowledge you claim.

Faith and evidence are indicative of two entirely different modes of thinking, except when faith is conflated with justified confidence; which happens 976.3 times a day on average. If one has demonstrable evidence, there is no need for faith.

Oh you don't think it's that prick do you? Now you mention it, the style is similar in its uneducated blathering.

This is the problem with even calling myself an atheist. It's a pre-emptive reaction to a claim. Regarding Delicate, I don't even have a claim to react to. So I'm not even technically an atheist until I hear what the claim is. Being told I'm wrong about a question I haven't heard is problematic.

I don't want to shed the label though as it has become so important, and most people barely understand what that word means; even before getting into specifics.

Some theists like to pretend the question is obvious and well-defined. If I've learnt anything over the last few years, it's that this couldn't be further from the truth.

Nah, Randy quoted others in long arguments sometimes with attribution,  too often without.  Delicate refuses to actually make arguments.  He just declares others have bad arguments and that his own are better without bothering to explain either his own position or even setting out the position he is attacking. Then he declares his opponent anti-intellectual for failing to respond to his unstated argument.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

The style is extremely similar. It's only that the real Randy probably wouldn't assume the role of born again christian for a Poetic attempt. Catholics and Born Agains hate each other with a vengeance and deny the other side the status of being christian.

We weren't willing to bow down and acknowledge delicate's prefect rightnesss. You see the truce wasn't a vehicle to allow delicate become a better person, but to give him a free pass from all criticism and disproof.

I think you just about summed up the thread right there.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?

Truth doesn't accommodate to personal opinions.
The choice is yours.

I told you people that a leopard doesn't change his spots. Delicate has proven what a troll he is right in his own thread. He was never sincere about wanting to start over and be nice. It was all an act. Anyone following this thread can see that.
