I only listen to music when I am jogging. Otherwise, it is not a medium that particularly interests me.

Music is my 2nd greatest pleasure. Only second to wanking.

I only listen music when: a) I am working; b) I am walking outside / traveling; c) I'm taking a bus / train. Heavy metals for focus / disconnecting from the surroundings; richard clayderman / instrumental / relaxing when reading or imagination is required. Blutengel for when I'm feeling emotional - other than angry, frustrated, stressed out (for these there's metal) For all other things, like talking to people, playing certain PC games, eating food, or sleeping, I don't listen music. I don't know if music is #1 for me, but it is certainly close to it. I listen to it, I study its theory when there's time, I make it. Bach is my highest prophet, and when I listen it's pretty much always either Metal or Classical from certain periods.

“The inexpressible depth of music, so easy to understand and yet so inexplicable, is due to the fact that it reproduces all the emotions of our innermost being, but entirely without reality and remote from its pain… Music expresses only the quintessence of life and its events, never these themselves.” (Arthur Schopenhauer)
