Star Wars Battlefront

RE: Star Wars Battlefront
I borrowed it from a friend, before the game had finished installing on my ps4, I felt like I had already seen all it had to offer. Upon installation, my suspicions were confirmed. Didn't get through one match before removing the disc with no plan to play it again.
I am John Cena's hip-hop album.

I don't plan to buy it. Every SW: Battlefront game I've played to date has been largely only an incremental improvement over the previous.

If it were under ten bucks, maybe.

Sounds to me you had the shits on the game before playing it and didn't even give it a chance.

Not knocking it but I actually think a lot of the criticism for it being 'shallow' or 'casual' is grossly unfair given the other shite on the market that seems to get a pass.

I actually really like the game Big Grin
It's fun to play, for me. (Though i wish there were proper space battles >:c )

During installation, you're dropped into a small level as Vader, and left to just kill rebels while you wait. After 20 minutes of that, I was already getting pretty bored.

Because how dare they give you something to do whilst the game installs.

I'm sorry but this is just a stupid criticism. It's an installation. The fact that it lets you do anything at all while you wait is already a ton up on other games. You do realise you could have exited out and done something else while it installed? You know, like what you would do with every other game out there that does an installation these days?

Fair enough if you played a few hours and thought it wasn't for you but honestly it just sounds like you had the shits on the game before you played it and couldn't even give the game a chance to install. Why did you even borrow it in the first place?

I mean that I felt like I had already experienced the extent of the gameplay by that point; I played a match, and what I experienced was a pretty, authentic and functional shooter, but the lack of a real campaign left me without much reason to play further, there seemed to be a profound lack of substance. And what the hell happened to space battles? Seriously.
