Quit talking smack mate this is just getting painful.
You were playing as Darth fucking Vader. How on Earth can you sit there and say you'd experienced *at this point* an 'authentic and functional shooter'?
You literally hadn't even used a fucking gun at this point. How can you comment on how good the game is as a shooter?
Just be honest and say you had already made up your mind before even touching the game.
It's this kind of bullshit criticism that annoys me. I'm not EA's biggest fan by any means but I am absolutely sick of people jumping on the bandwagon to bash a game that they haven't even played.

You knew about the lack of campaign before playing. So again, why did you bother?
Quote:there seemed to be a profound lack of substance.
Compared to most every other shooter on the market I think it offers a decent amount of substance. Yes the game is obviously geared towards DLC and I hate EA for that, but the game itself is fun to play and on balance I don't think what it offers is bad. Whether you think it worth $60 (I paid 26 quid), is obviously your call, but comparatively I don't see this game as any worse in terms of substance as what any of the Battlefield games have been. Or most other 'shooters' for that matter.

I'm sure you knew about this before you wasted your time slashing at rebels with Vader. Which again, begs the question of why you bothered to do so if you already knew you were going to be playing a game lacking such substance.
