I can speak from personal experience; there have been too many times, usually after a particularly heavy night on the sauce, where you think you're just letting out the tiniest of trouser coughs, when in fact your bowels puke forth the mother load of rusty water into your poor unsuspecting dung hampers.
Forget underwear, I've had to throw away socks before due to a badly timed shart.
