Trump the Nominee?

RE: Trump the Nominee?
I have little interest in American politics as it seems even sillier than British politics (quite an achievement!) but from the little I have seen of Trump I would say that some village is missing it's idiot! The man is a total fuckwit

I've heard a lot of my republican friends an relatives say the boilerplate line about how everyone is just overreacting and the party base is just sick of the normal politics and that they'll vote for someone else when the time comes.

I think the republican base is actually going with Trump because they honestly believe what he stands for in their minds and hearts, I don't think they're just acting out or being swept up in a fad. I don't know which proposition of the two is more depressing about the GOP base.

You know what is scaring me a bit, even the so called "Lame stream media" as former loser Palin likes to call them, is becoming lopsided in spending time on Trump. But worse is that they are calling this a "major endorsement".

How, she was a total ass hat clown running with McCain. If I were a GOP candidate she'd be the last I would want endorsing me. So the only thing I can think is our voters have been pumped with so much Jerry Springer "reality Tv" their low information supporters swallow that crap, and corporate media simply cant help making a buck.

Now many are saying if Trump does win the nomination, is problem will be with minorities and swing voters. I hope that is the case.

Trump is a blustering hate filled bigot who appeals to other blustering hate filled bigots i.e. republicans. Why his success is a surprise I don't know, I mean look how they reacted to the empty headed hate monger Sarah I can see Russia Palin.

Hell, Russia survived Yeltsin.  If nothing else, Trump will be similarly entertaining.

I'm certainly enjoying the tacit blasphemies his christer fans are deep throating even now.

One thing for sure - if Trump runs against Sanders the American voters will have a clear choice between free market capitalism and socialism.  In the end I believe Republicans will come to reality and choose Marco Rubio.

I am so proud of Sarah endorsing the Donald.

I can't believe Obama ignored her son and thus caused him to do those horrible htings!

RE: Trump the Nominee?
My friend says that Trump has no actual intention of winning the presidency and that he's going to drop out at the last minute and put all of his support behind Jeb, winning him the nomination.

I'm doubtful of that. If Trump indeed wins the nomination, and it comes between him and Sanders, I think Sanders will take it. Bernie has most the racial minorities (at least in a race against Trump), virtually all of the college students, and the majority of the lower and lower-middle classes. Trump has the upper classes, the racists of the south and... yeah, that's about it. I think Bernie would beat him.

If it comes between Trump and Clinton, he might have a better chance. I probably wouldn't even bother voting.
