Fighter and three sorcerers.
I've been rolling with a paladin meat shield, two sorcerers and a wizard. Pure cheese.
I rerolled last night, high elf evil wizard, rolling with Astarion, Shadowheart, and Lae'zel. I have avoided these three, should be plenty of drama.

After agreeing to side with Minthara, as she was walking away, I picked a non-lethal fight with her that left her knocked out instead of dead. This is supposed to ensure that I can recruit her after meeting her again in Moonrise Towers. But we'll see.
Act One really is the longest of the three.

I think my lovely Gulikit controller is kaputtsky When will I learn you can't rely on anything. It's anti stick drift and other features were awesome, but if it can't hold a charge... or whatever this is (no longer connects or turns on and according to windows, is 'malfunctioning'), it's not much use. I have to wonder if it's related to Linux though, cos I didn't have any problems with it under Windows... maybe, if Linux has any say in the power output of usb cables, it could have overcharged it or undercharged it or something, that's my only theory. I'm gonna miss that controller, it was so comfortable to use

If it's currently electronic waste, might as well try to open it up and see what type of battery it has and try to get an equivalent battery from some online store that has those things. You may need to use a soldering iron to remove and reinstall the batteries, but it's worth it to keep those things out of the landfill.

Heya Poca, long time. Yeah, no I'm not really comfortable with doing that. The best I've done is open controllers to clean analog sticks (which you don't need to do with this particular one... that was it's USP... electromagnetic sticks so anti-drift) but I'm not comfortable with soldering or anything like that, or messing with the battery... thanks for the suggestion though It wouldn't be that much use in this case anyway because there's no way (I've found) to tell the battery charge level, beyond just a light to tell you if it's fully charged or not. So I assumed it was charging whilst I played with it plugged in, but I guess not, or maybe not, and no way to really tell.

Remnants of the Precursors. It's a nice update of the original Master of Orion with good quality of life enhancements, ability to play some ludicrously big maps* and a few tweaks to fix the game how the original developers wanted certain systems to work.
You can download it for free, but the devs would like a donation if you're able.
*Some so big you'll go to plaid.

Thankfully I think I was wrong about it being a battery issue with my controller, since advice suggested using the factory reset feature of it, and that seems to have helped, temporarily at least. Basically it's a controller with a lot of programmable/macro features, so my new theory is that it's those malfunctioning, because the first sign of impending disconnection is the controls going haywire in a game. Maybe or maybe not it's a driver issue... maybe the drivers for it aren't as good in Linux or something... wouldn't be the first time. So hopefully going forward even if this is an ongoing issue, I can at least get temporary reprieve with this factory reset option. So yay, I can use it again, albeit tentatively

Of all the things Astarion disapproves of, it's weird that he approves of informing Topaz the bird to sing instead of worrying about trinkets.
