Microsoft has been working on its gaming-focused Copilot assistant for months now, with the company launching it in beta on the Xbox mobile app, Windows 11, and Xbox Ally handhelds. Players can use their voice to call upon the Gaming Copilot if they get stuck in a game, and the AI assistant is supposed to reply with suggestions about what to do next. It can also answer questions about a player’s gaming history, offer up tips or strategies, and provide game recommendations. In examples shared by Xbox, players can ask Gaming Copilot how to beat a particular boss or which materials they need to craft a sword in Minecraft.

After freeing Withers and repelling the goblins at the grove, the party dispatched Edowin's cultists and passed on the owlbear den. Hopped the river past Scratch to grab Karlach. She of course wanted to go deal with the "Paladins of Tyr" right away, against my better judgment we did just that, despite half the party not even achieving 3rd level yet and not being at all fresh for combat. A tactical retreat, two character deaths later (both Karlach), and the "Paladins" were dispatched. Fast travel back to the grove to lick our wounds, and while talking to Dammon, all of a sudden all of the Tiefling refugees went hostile.

Yeah, I guess I'll re-roll.

Picked up Subnautica, ABZU and a few other cheap titles in the Steam sale. I already have ABZU on Xbox but it'd be a good game to play on my Steam deck.

I made it through the section in Silent Hill f that was giving me trouble. Slow and steady wins the race. And I'm enjoying the demo for Atelier Yumia, but I haven't figured out how to synthesize alchemical compounds. It's very different from older Atelier games and leans towards automated synthesis.

Started a playthrough of Jedi Survivor. It's on sale for $10. It's included with my Game Pass subscription, but I'm not sure that I'm going to renew that when it expires in October.
