I'm 8 hours drive away from Dallas and have never been there so I have no useful information/advice to give you about that city. I don't know how else I can help you. Is there anything else any of us can do to help from far away?
I can’t think of anything. The main thing is that I can’t use the phone to call people.
Please don’t feel sorry for me. You guys have been great friends over the last several months. You make me feel good so I don’t want to make you feel bad.
I’m waiting to see if my friend here will be able to find someone to take me to Dallas to see the audiologist. The guy in Chicago with the email is keeping contact with her by phone. Waiting is not my strong suit.
And congratulations on winning the 2015 AF Awards.

If you need me to make a phone call for you, just holler.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

That sounds like an awful situation to go through
I would offer to help, if it wasn't for the Atlantic sitting in the way.

If I were closer by, I'd love to check out Dallas with you. I'm in Virginia, though.
According to Walk Score, the Downtown area requires the least need for a car. Apparently the website rated neighborhoods within the area according to walkability, ease of access to public transportation, number of bike paths, etc. It also features homes and apartment complexes in each neighborhood, with pricing and pics.
https://www.walkscore.com/TX/Dallas/Downtown
Click on Nearby Apartments. The available listings are on the left. The most affordable one I saw (I only scrolled through the first 20 or so) was a one bedroom apartment around $610.
Hit me up if you me need me, Rhonda. After I get off from work, I go NOWHERE.
I'd be more than happy to help.

Why am I shaking? This must be jello, because jelly don't shake like this.

Thanks sooooo much.
