When feeling panicked and completely overwhelmed, it's easy to recall the calmative effect of prayer. But, I don't see myself even being able to reap that particular benefit, when I honestly don't believe; It would be be just pointless yammering.

I'd do just as well to do some deep-breathing, or have a glass of wine to calm myself in the short-term. The only way to comfort myself for the long haul is to have a plan of action.

A plan of action. Just like when several of you said you were sorry I had a problem. The word "Problem" triggered a sense of confidence in me. This is a problem. I've had problems before. Other people have problems. If you don't have any problems, then you're probably dead. I can deal with a problem.

He's been working. So that explains it. I was wondering why all the sea gulls have been flying inland. Now I know.

I sent the info that Thena gave me about the deaf/blind apartments to Chicago. He will probably have to wait until Monday to call them. Until then, I guess I have enough padding so the pins and needles won't prick too bad.
