Divinity means a religious being. Which is pretty fucking ironic, considering I don't like religion.
It's also a very difficult dish to make.
As a given name Cory is used by both males and females. As a surname it has a number of possible derivations, including an Old Norse personal name Kori of uncertain meaning, which is found in Scandinavia and England.

Oh, you don't mean what I wish it meant? Rebekah or Rebecca is a feminine given name originating from the Hebrew רִבְקָה (Rivkah). The name comes from the verb רבק (rbq), meaning "to tie firmly"; Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names and the NOBS Study Bible Name List suggest the name means "snare", "noose", "tied up", "secured", and even "beautifully ensnaring".[1] W.F. Albright held that it meant "star".[2] Citation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebecca_(given_name) Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" Quote:Lauren may be a given name or surname. The name's meaning may be "Laurel tree", "sweet of honor" or "victory of wisdom". Can also be derived from "laurel" in Latin meaning "seer of second sight" or gift of prophecy as well as immortality, and superior intelligence. Yay. |
