I've been to Wales twice and it's awesome. I've not quite been to Scotland although I got close once. I really want to go there one day. I've not been anywhere near Ireland yet, but I hope to make it there too at some point. But I'll have to figure out which part to visit based on religious nuttery density.

Excellent! I love Scottish accents.

Whether I can understand them is another matter. That depends. I once had to try and serve a very drunk Scot with a very thick accent. I had literally no idea what he was saying. I encouraged him to point.

The governments elected by democracy have pretty much resulted in ruling governments that could be described the same way you're describing the mafia, dictators and a theocracy.

We use the same system here. It sort of reminds me of those old Toyota turcels you see on the road sometimes. Its old as fuck, and you keep expecting to breakdown on the highway and leave you for dead, but it just keeps on ticking.
