In politics are said governments are 2 kind, dictatorship and democracy.
But i think in the world have 4 kind:
1- democracy
2- theocracy
3- modern dictatorship
4- mafia dictatorship
Modern dictatorship are 3 kind:
1- fascism
2- nationalism and racism
3- comunism
Theocracy have 2 giant instance:
1- christian
2- Islam
Mafia dictatorship? I fond in Iran! Government of Iran is theocracy+mafia.
Your terms are rather confused. Depending on how power is allocated governments can be:
dictatorships (based on lineage, one time vote, political subversion, military power)
oligarchies (based on wealth, lineage, academic, or religious position)
bureaucracies
republics (many many flavors with more and less sufferage and more and less pro rata representation)
democracies (essentially impossible for countries with more than a thousand or so citizens)
Each of the above four can contain elements of the others such as a monarchy limited by representative bodies, or republic with direct voter referendums, or a republic with an oligarchic house. At one point England was a monarchyoung tempered by a representative body, and an oligarchic body. It also had a semi seperate theocratic oligarchy. And any of the above may or may not be limited by a constitution. Any of the above may or may not have independent local governments of various types. Different independent states may also form federations which may or may not be governed by the same type of government as the individual states.
Then there is an entirely separate set of adjectives:
nationalist
theocratic
capitalist/socialist/communist
totalitarian
etc.
These have to do with governmental goals and the level and areas of govermental involvement.
These terms can also be mixed and matched such as a socialist totalitarian, theocratic nationalist state.
I live in a mostly capitalist, constittional, federal republic, with more bureaucratic elements than I'd like. I prefer capitalist constitutional republics. Non theocratic or totalitarian please.
A fascist state is a nationalistic, totalitarian, socialst, dictatorship usually with elements of racism.
