Myth, liberals hate the private sector.
January 27, 2016 at 4:58 pm
We don't and a perfect example of better business is what just happened with me and my mom's computer right now.
So my mom was complaining that her computer was slowing down and she couldn't get certain things to do what she wanted to. She was all ready to fork out money for a new one and I stopped her and told her no, lets look have someone look at it.
So a mom an pop shop fixer came buy her apt today, turned out she was just frustrated with settings, and he removed Skype as an auto run off the taskbar, and did a quick virus check. Charged absolutely nothing.
Sometimes the right thing to do is doing the right thing. No you cant always do things for free, but when you can and it isn't going to hurt your bottom line, why not? It makes you look like you really care and are in business for the right reasons.

Trump would call that guy a "loser."
Scumbags like Trump give the private sector a bad name.

How long were they there? If they would have charged something would you have a different opinion?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

20 minutes, and no, I would not feel differently depending how much they would have charged.
It certainly isn't right to expect free thing everywhere you go. Business owners have to pay bills and eat too. I just don't like jaded business owners and especially far too many corporate business models where when they say they care what they really mean is they care about scamming you out of money.
I've had some really nice bosses in my past and others whom shout orders two states away and send middle management goons in to terrorize employees. So it depends on the owner and their attitude to the customers and workers.

Don't like a company and their prices? Don't use it.

And when you have no choice?
For example if you want internet, your choices are typically limited.

Well, things cost money and corporations who provide the services obviously want money and fucking lots of it. Now I am pretty left-wing myself, but the Internet (as it stands and to my knowledge) is a privilege not a right. If you can't afford it, then tough luck.

Here we go again, as simplistic view of the market as a theist is with religion and law, and gun worshipers are with guns.
What is funny is you only say that when you get what you want. I have said the exact same thing you just did, and every time I say the same thing, all the sudden I am a private sector hating socialist commie.
No see prices are to high in everything and wages are not keeping up with the cost of living. You are trying to simplify it so that you can justify your own position.
Selection bias and sample rate error. When I talk about business being bad, I am talking about the climate, not every single business, and yes, I do boycott businesses I don't like. But if I say that I get accused of being anti private sector.
I think we should support rich people like Nick Hanoure and companies that pay livable wages, and boycott places like Papa Johns and Walmart.
So again, I do the same thing you do, you simply don't like my liberal economic views. But make no mistake liberals do not hate the private sector. Conservatives don't own the rights to the private sector. The bulk of the buying public is the 99% that the 1% depend on to make them rich. I simply think far too many at the top are greedy at this point in economic history.

"If you can't afford it, tough luck!"
Except you don't have any choices. In most places there's a monopoly in place. Which means companies don't have to compete with one another. Which means you can't simply 'not' buy from that specific company if you disagree with their policies. This isn't hard to understand. If you want the internet, you have to deal with that company. And good luck getting by without the internet if you live in today's society. Those companies now have no reason to upgrade their equipment, improve their service, or do anything to please their customers.
