You can however be active without being reactive, that much is true, but I think we will agree that an antitheist will never be anything but reactive, given the fact that religion always comes before antitheism.

So I would actually agree that an antitheist would be better described as reactive than active(so as to not create confusions of the sort). Where does that leave us? I'm an antitheist but you're not, despite us both being reactionary regarding religion/theism?

Just as predicted. Talk to Wiki, have the definition changed, then get back to me.

Their definition is just fine. You fail to understand language. Look up active in the dictionary.

Let me be more polite here.

Your definition is not wrong. Neither is theirs. You are simply seeking to get out of it in a dishonest manner. I don't know precisely why - maybe political corectness, who knows?

I did. Now you need to. Look up petulant while at it.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

You sound like an antitheist to me. But you identify however you wish, man.

Point being every single atheist I've met in my life, including here, is an antitheist as well. I have yet to meet one who isn't - and that person would basically have to not object to religion or theism as a problematic set of ideas. Only babies are non-antitheist atheists. Everyone else is. It's just the reality of it.

It at least seems most are, but there are definitely some who are not. Tib comes to mind.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I seriously doubt any adult atheist is not also an antitheist. They might not identify as such, but that's a whole different problem.

One can be a homo sapiens without identifying as such. Creationists come to mind.

Well I don't say this just because he doesn't identify as one. I say this also because of what he says in regards to religion, based on his posts. He's very objective and has 0 hostility towards religion. He doesn't mind if people have a religion, so long as they are good people. He's not the only one here like this. There are others, but I admire him the most.

Ok, I don't want to talk about Tiberius if he's not here to talk for himself, but what you're saying sounds awfully naive and subjective.

Haha You don't understand it, so it simpy CANNOT be! Something MUST be wrong!
Well, something's wrong all right, Bucko!

What? Narrow thinking
Where? In your brain
Why? Cause you can't admit to being wrong. You'll defend a bullshit, nothing position to the bitter end out of pride.

You can't learn nothin' like that! Rolleyes
