Going serious, reluctantly, I'm assuming they've simulated the expected signal emitted by 2 BHs spiraling towards their mutual doom and have managed to detect a signal rather similar to that.
I wonder if the 2 masses were substantially different from each other if that might be discerned? I'm trying to imagine the swirly wibbly wobbly waveform from that and am getting sufficiently dizzy as to think a meclazine tab might be called for . . .
