There's a thread about torture not working.

Torture doesn't work. 

I wouldn't be trying to get information out of him.  It'd be completely for revenge.

That's OK as long as it's you who is doing the torturing for your own purposes.  The problem is when the big wigs get other people to do the torturing instead of doing it themselves.  Since Cheney liked waterboarding he should have been the one doing it.  

Everyone will gladly torture another person if that person does something to really piss him off.
