What about fresh water for all the animals to drink? I have seen cows drink 30 litres of water 4 times a day (120 lt per day). And the food? And keeping the lions off snacking on some meaty prey? The answer is :"Holy shit, god is teh logistics masta!!!111oneeleven".

New fossil links humans and monkeys

I suppose they could drink the rain water leaking in from the upper decks? Which brings up another question....who pumps out the bilge?
Just for the sake of argument though, let's say they all landed safely on Mt. Ararat. The ark opens and the wildebeest, zebra, antelope, and lions set off for Africa. Day #2. The lions get hungry and the others get nervous.
And don't forget the T-rex's that according to the cretinists(sorry, creationists) were also on board.
If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
Imagine the logistical problems associated with getting the damn dinosaurs in the ark! The rest of the animal kingdom must have been a handful already!
But that's what it boils down to 99% of the times! creationists say there is no proof, science presents proof, creationists discard it as fake! There is no winning with this lot!! Kinda makes me sad for humans in general!

"If the world does come to an end here, or wherever, or if it limps into the future, decimated by the effects of religion-inspired nuclear terrorism, let's remember what the real problem was that we learned how to precipitate mass death before we got past the neurological disorder of wishing for it." Bill Maher
There is nothing like religious doctrine to make humans look stupid, young fellow.

I thought they say the dinosaurs became extinct because of the flood? But if they did, wasn't Noah ordered to put a pair of every animal species in the ark? Or did god secretly tell Noah to leave the dinosaurs out because his "divine" plan was to make them extinct? But why would he create them so that he would get rid of them afterwards? And wouldn't the bible have mentioned that? The constant stubbornness and stupidity of bible bashing creationists are beyond words.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Many of the species we know today were descended from a common ancestor. Quote:Based on my own biological research into created kinds, I would be even bolder than Nelson. Over the past decade, I have worked to develop new methods of studying created kinds using statistics. This research is still very new and preliminary, but a pattern is beginning to emerge. For land animals and birds, the created kind most often corresponds to the conventional classification rank called “family,” which includes many species. There is evidence that the camel, horse, cat, dog, penguin, and iguana families are each a created kind. Like Nelson, I would put the coyote, wolf, jackal, and dog in the same kind, and I would include the fox. I would put the lion and house cat in another kind, and the llama and camel in yet another kind. Today these species (i.e., llama and camel) look amazingly different, but they seem to have been generated after the Flood from information already present within their parent kind. Lions, coyotes, and dromedary camels were probably not on the Ark but were born to parents within the cat, dog, and camel kinds. http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles...every-kind (July 24, 2010 at 12:29 pm)chasm Wrote: What about the fact that there isn't enough water on Earth for a worldwide flood? The water in the oceans now would cover the earth if it were more level. These eggs are more than 60 cm (2 ft.) long and about 20 cm (8 in.) in diameter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinosaur_egg Dinosaurs that had just been hatched would have been very small.
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Romans 1:20 ESV Quote:Many of the species we know today were descended from a common ancestor. ALL species today were descended from a common ancestor beginning hundreds of millions of years ago and it had nothing to do with your fucking god. Quote:The water in the oceans now would cover the earth if it were more level. At the end of the flood the continents must have risen above the rest of the earth's surface to form dry land. What exactly do you mean by "more level?" Plenty of the Earth, is without higher land features. Take where I live for example: In Southern Florida, the highest landmass we have is a man-made garbage fill. We are teetering right at the sea level yet... why isn't the ocean swallowing us up? Geological flood claims are ridiculous. Not only are you claiming that the water from "the heavens" is a significant amount (by the way atmospheric water content is around 0.001% of the total), but that continents sunk down BEFORE and rose AFTER the flood? Even a small child with little to no geology education would find you to be a quack. |
