Speaking as a man, the "men's rights"; movement are a bunch of chauvinist pigs who prefer to have women go back to being second class citizens. Personally they can go to Saudi Arabia or the Islamic State as far as I am concerned, where the ideology of "Mens Rights" is enshrined in law.

I'm just saying that,even though women may have a structural advantage over men, even though law systems and family courts and divorce and our society cater to women's needs than men's. Even though more women are graduating from universities with valuable degrees, even though women in their 30s earn more than men for the same job, even though women are more preferred to hire than men..... Women are seriously oppressed by our society, women are practically slaves and we should fight against all these misogynistic scum men.

I can easily sympathize with the Men's Rights Movement. Clearly, men have been discriminated against for millennia - no positions of power in either industry or politics, unable to get the same educational opportunities as women, and barred from professions like law and medicine for generations. To add insult to injury, the few men who were fortunate enough to make it into woman-dominated professions are almost always paid less than their female counterparts.

And as if that weren't bad enough, men are still, in many parts of the world, treated as little more than chattel slaves, being forced into arranged marriages and reduced to (effectively) sexual slavery by their wives.

Where the family courts are more willing to give custody of a kid to a man who hasn't been in the picture in over ten years vs. allowing the child to stay with the mother while said child is slowly reintroduced back into the absent parent's life. A place where the superior court sets a precedent by allowing a non-biological person to take away an incapacitated person, via guardianship, from the primary attachment figure (aka biological mother) the person has had since birth.

Yeah, courts are so against men these days, my ass. I get my youngest daughter exactly six overnights a month now thanks to the same court system that fucked me over with my oldest.
