As for Adam falling to Eve's urging, don't you think God blamed Adam for listening to her, that's the way I see it. None of this was punishment though most see it that way. As for man's response to how God punished them they took it upon themselves to misinterpret what God said to control women, this was never God's intent.

If Satan was the snake.. then why did God punish the snake? I asked before, and never got an answer, but what did Earthworms do to God for that matter?

Silly ape. Were you really expecting logical chronolgy? They believe in an invisible super power, so making up and modifying stories from random writings is nothing.
This is how it is done.
The serpent helped Adam and Eve to free themselves from indentured servitude. Satan is simply "adversary" and the serpent seems quite adversarial to me.
