Why is Trump Getting So Many Delegates if the Repubs Hate Him So Much?

Trump is probably going to be president. He's tapped into the same type of angst that Obama did in 2008, but since most US media is pro-Democrat, the Trump supporters are allegedly "white redneck racists."

Trump is a masterful politician. He's risen to the nomination against all naysayers. He single-handedly derailed Bush's campaign, who was the big-donor favorite. His campaign even gets a free ride, courtesy of the ratings-hungry media.

What was one of Trump's famous 90s sayings? "Better to be underestimated," or something like that? When Trump goes against Hillary, he'll continue to use dirty tactics, but he'll have suddenly become "smarter" and "more informed," too. He'll tear her down the same way he torn down every other victim in his wake.

Nope, he will not beat Hillary, or Bernie for that matter. The gains are in the swing voters, and the math is simply not there in the minority vote or swing vote to counter all the base he has pissed off. And Hillary isn't stupid either, she will eat him alive and so will the PACS that support her.

The entire party knows he is sinking them and is merely now trying to see if they can either get someone else nominated, or cut their losses to save the party.

I know the left's party lines, but they've been 100% wrong in all their assessments and predictions so far.

Even the most recent FOX poll has Clinton beating Mein Drumpf by 11 points. Over all average Clinton is beating Drumpf 50 to 38. Drumpf is going to end up like Mondale or Dukakis.

Even the most recent FOX poll has Clinton beating Mein Drumpf by 11 points. Over all average Clinton is beating Drumpf 50 to 38. Drumpf is going to end up like Mondale or Dukakis.

Under ordinary circumstances, Clinton beats Trump in a landslide. But she's her own worst enemy and has an FBI investigation hanging over her head. In a way, Bernie did us no favors by taking the high road and not hammering her on this "issue". If he had, she could win the nomination and tell us all it's behind her/us, and that might have flown. However, it's hardly been an issue so far. Trump will hammer her relentlessly on the subject, and my esteem for the voting populace is such that I really don't know how that will affect the outcome.

Yes, on paper, she beats Trump easily. But elections have a way of getting messy and ugly really quickly. Trump is nothing if not a masterful salesman of everything unseemly, and there are enough independents who think so little of both of them that Trump might actually seem the lesser of two evils to many of them by the time he's finished. As far as GOP voters (dutiful drones that they are) go, they may be embarrassed by Trump, but they hate Hillary even more and should be expected to turn out, hold their noses, and vote the ticket.

He's pandering to common sense. I don't agree with his solutions, which is why I'm voting for Clinton, but we have an illegal immigration problem that won't go away no matter how much we ignore it. Ditto on the Muslim problem.

Yea and? I think Iran Contra was far worse, and even Nixon only had to resign. This crap has been going on for years, if they had anything on her by now she would have resigned. If Drumpf tries to get dirty with her, for all that talk about how dirty she is, if they want to claim that, then it will be a two way fight, and she will have Obama and Warren helping her as well. Bernie will fall in line too.

What common sense? Calling Mexicans rapists? Suggesting the mass deportation of 11 million humans? Building a wall which we don't have the money for and on top of that thinking Mexico will pay for it? Drumpf is a liar and bullshit artist.
