Millennials = Generation Y. Depends on who you ask. Sometimes it's 2000 or later, I've seen pundits push that all the way back to the 1980's.

I personally have no idea what generation I'm supposed to belong to. Born too late to be a boomer, too early to be Gen X.

This makes me want to stab people in the face.  Dude, I am not your bro, dude.  Just give me my fucking latte.

On the other hand, I am becoming aware in my old (40) age that some folks find "sir" and "ma'am" to be a bit stuffy. Frankly, I nevertheless prefer it.

I've always considered myself generation X but I have no idea if that's right

Seriously, the person who mentioned millenials was acting as though they were more modern.

I hate to be called ma'am. Hate hate hate. But at the same time I don't like dude and I especially don't like bruh. Excuse me I'm not even a guy. So I'll take ma'am if I have to. Honestly though, if you don't even know my name I generally don't want you to address me as anything lol. I'm a terrible anti social grinch in real life.

Sometimes at work, if I see an especially silly young girl acting all superior, I will call her ma'am. xD

Well, she deserved it.

What confuses me is I hear a lot of media talking about who is getting votes from Millennials and no one born in the 2000's is old enough to vote.
