What trauma? Anyway I do believe some of the bible.How do you know that I don't do the things you say,like helping people? I don't know if you do them but if I wanted to know I would ask you.

You aren't the least bit disturbed or stressed by the fact that you call yourself a Christian, yet I'd be willing to bet most of the Christians out there will never agree on everything they believe in? How is that even logically possible? If all of these people truly believe they are going to heaven, but lead very different lives, why is yours right? How do you know Satan hasn't counterfeited your beliefs in advance? If I am to believe in something, there better be some damn good evidence for me to accept what I'm reading/hearing/seeing is true. Otherwise it is just a giant waste of time and we are but a flash in the grand timeline of the universe. It's not worth it. I understand you believe what you believe, but man... I couldn't just pretend to believe in things "just incase."

No no no no no no no no no. No. This is not about persuasion, this is about intellectual honesty. If you expect people to understand why you believe in something, you'd better damn sure be able to understand why yourself. Faith is also a crap answer since it basically means belief in something without evidence or proof. You can believe that a leprechaun is mowing your yard while Santa is giving you a Swedish massage - but if you want others to understand your beliefs, or even believe you, you need proof. Plain and simple.
