I've always wondered about the bee keeper suits they wear. Although the veils are less of a hindrance. I'm not a Muslim, and really don't understand Islam, so whatevs. If it's someone's preference I don't mind, but I truly wonder how much duress they are under from their husband, or the men in general to cover themselves. I can honestly see the idea of dressing modestly not to excite the opposite sex, and to prefer to keep their bodily temples pure, but I wonder if that's what it's really about.

Like I said in a previous thread as far as western countries are concerned you're lying about modesty. A tee and blue jeans would be plenty modest. Not to mention there a dozens of styles of headwrap (black women wear them all the time) if you simply MUST cover your hair that don't draw attention. Just admit you're ashamed of your body and have been brainwashed into wear the most ridiculous head coverings for the sake of religion.

You're making a serious mistake if you think women started wearing burkas with the introduction of Islam.  Middle Eastern women were wearing burkas as soon as they got cloth.  

There are a couple of stories in the Bible about them.  In Genesis, Chapter 38, hookers wore burkas.

The difference between Christians and muslims is that the Christians don't believe in the Bible because they never read it.  They like to claim that it's the Word of God but they never do anything that it commands them to do.  The muslims believe in the Koran but they don't understand it.  They just memorize it without thinking about what it means.  They like the violent parts because they are mostly violent people.
