At what point does Drich decide that it's too much? How does he decide how much to punish them?

I'm amazed this is still legal in some US states. But obviously nothing should surprise me anymore, going by what I read these last few weeks on American state legislation and it's archaic nature.

I'm used to doctors and teachers being advised to file a report if a child shows bruises consisten with a beating. Not to them taking a bat to the child themselves.

Drich, someone has, or maybe even I have, probably asked you this before, but why, exactly are you here? What are your goals?

I used to pose this question what seemed like a lot, but I never got what seemed like an honest answer and, tenacious as I can be, I wouldn't usually push much further because it seemed a futile effort. I really am curious about this, though. I really hope you'll answer honestly.

To train is to discipline along the lines of a Tibetan monk, not a free range chicken.

The verse in question isn't to be regarded as a guarantee that your children will keep their faith throughout all or most of their lives, according to your favorite book; Clearly YOU don't understand the meaning of the term 'free will'.

Suffice to say that I even consider "training" a dog that way to be a crime. Dogs are sentient creatures, according to newer scientific findings of the intellect of a two to three year old child. They know just as well if you're a bastard or a person and will treat you accordingly.
