Evidence for atheist claims

It reminds me of a 'Star Trek' episode where one solar system had computerized the whole war thing to make it palatable.

Total war is madness.

During their NDE it was shown to them how to live better so to progress.
Beside your question forgot that I was challenging the previous post when it was said that
we need a physical body to progress.
Where is the evidence that that is the case?  Lightbulb
After an NDE the person is still in a physical body.
Show one person who is no longer in a physical body who is making progress.

Your mental confusion prevent you from thinking properly.  Banging Head On Desk

First you asked me to show you a person ........ who is no longer in a physical body who is making progress............I did that by direct you to the NDEs experiences.
Now you ask me the same question.
How stupid is that!  Banghead

If you only would have thought about my previous answer you should have understood that
NDEs or not NDEs when you are out your physical body the experience wouldn't change.
Even a death without an NDE would be in the same situation as out there in the different dimension
God is there anyway so the chances to make progress are still there.
Right?

"Well, Art is Art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water. And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now you tell me what you know."
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Actually, Marx said that.

Is that the same Marx responsible for saying, "If I held you any closer I'd be behind you."?

Boy I sure wish I could slip the shackles of dogma like ole Rikky boy. Must be nice to let your brain glide through the cosmos the way his does. I honestly think he is immune to every sort of fact or rebuke. Ah well, another day of rationality.

Rationality in this finite universe can mean a lot and at the same time can mean absolutely nothing.
Long time ago most people thought that the planet earth was flat.
In those time it was rational to think in that way.
Today may be rational to think that the consciousness is a product of the brain.
The facts however will force a lot of rational people to throw these dogmas in the rubbish bin of history
so the rationals will turn into idiots and the so called idiots will emerge as rationals.  Smile

But it want end up there.

Once it will be understood that the consciousness can exist outside the constraint of the body and can not be destroyed then atheism will end up in the rubbish bin of history.  Wink

All this time and you still don't understand the meaning of 'atheism'. Jesus Christ, you're an obstinate imbecile!

Get this through your pea-sized brain (or consciousness, if you prefer): atheism does not have a position on the philosophy of mind. Your conclusion above (rubbish bin of history) simply doesn't follow.
