Should the Romanian who scucessfully hacked into Clinton's server get immunity
Things got serious when Bryan Pagliano was granted immunity. And I think the hacker, Guccifer, who was recently extradited to the United States will have valuable information. Perhaps have information on the tens of thousands of e-mail Clinton deleted. Who seriously believes it was all just yoga and wedding planning e-mails Clinton deleted.

The FBIs reputation is at stake over Clinton's e-mails. We know governments tried to hack into the server so people must be really naive to believe what Clinton tells the public. Were the Chinese after details of Chelsea Clinton's wedding? Clinton has fooled millions of Americans.

Yes. Guccifer did a great service.

Yep. It's not just brown people who hate the United States. Here in Europe we are sick of being dragged into pointless wars that make American billionaires richer and we love to remind ourselves if how stupid tens of millions of Americans are. Greenpeace managed to leak some of the text of Trans Atlantic Partnership Treaty and yeah...safe to say Obama is a prick for advocating this free trade crap.

I hate making exceptions to my desire to see all the fucking hackers burned up in the electric chair.

I'll admit this occasion I'm tempted . . .

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

The FBI already recovered those: http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articl...ton-server

Sorry Hillary, it turns out wiping a server with a cloth doesn't delete emails!

But more seriously, this guy didn't hack into Clinton's server as far as I know. He just discovered its existence. He compromised the personal email account of Sidney Blumenthal, a former Bill Clinton aide, and found emails sent to clinton's email address, which revealed the server.

Exactly. Snowdens a hero. Don't know why you think I was against him?

I thought Clinton was smarter than that. Perhaps I was too generous. Even I know simply putting something in the Recycle Bin doesn't get rid of it really (because if you're clever you can still access it). You have properly erase data from a hard drive using specialist software or dispose of hard disk drives properly.

Clinton hired people to set up and look after her server, and they deleted the emails properly it seems. However, Clinton (or her aides) had set up an offsite cloud backup service for her emails, and the FBI were able to retrieve the backed up data from that.

Of course, that means that for years, Clinton's email server was sending backups over the Internet of all her emails, including any government emails she had on the server...including any classified information she sent or received. If you thought the email server was bad enough, the fact that classified documents were probably backed up to a cloud backup service is much much worse. At least with the server she could argue that it was properly maintained by people with clearance, but who knows who had access to the backups.

Well it's Fox News, but this would be *very* interesting if true: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/05/...tcmp=hpbt1
