Ahhh, no.
Religion is disliked because it is divisive, and the single cause for more deaths in human history than all other "clubs" put together.
There is a some benefit to be gained from religion, but the net sum benefit to humanity is way in the negative.
In other words, hundreds of millions of people have died for a sky fairy who doesn't exist...
We will die for a pleasant life. I guess its less epic than go in a bang for higher purpose like some kind of batman.
